You should call or come by the shop to sign for any of the classes, unless it is an on-going class such as Banner Club.  Class size is limited.  You usually need a supply sheet for what you need to bring for the class.  Every student brings their own machine, rulers, rotary cutters, etc. or any tool or fabric, book or pattern needed for that particular class.  Please have your name on all of your supplies. It is not required, but greatly appreciated, for your supplies to be purchased from Seventh Heaven.  You should have full knowledge of how to use your machine if one is needed for your class.  Usually classes need at least 4 people for the class to make.  Refunds will be given if the class is cancelled by the shop for any reason.  You may cancel and receive a refund 2 days prior to class.  IN CASE OF SEVERE WEATHER, CALL THE SHOP.  WE DO NOT RISK OUR LIFE FOR A QUILT CLASS!  IF AT ALL POSSIBLE GIVE US YOUR WORK OR CELL NUMBER WHERE YOU CAN BE REACHED DURING THE DAY.  We want you to enjoy your class and will make every effort to ensure this happens, therefore, we ask that you take cell phone calls out of the classroom so as not to disturb the other people.

BASIC QUILT CLASS American Spirit	Tuesdays, Oct. 19, 26 Nov. 9, 16, & 30 6:00 - 9:00	If you know nothing but want to learn the wonderful art and hobby of quilting, this is the class for you.  We will start with rotary cutting, piecing , borders, appliqué, quilting and finally the binding.  Five sessions and you will have the confidence to try something on your own.  $65+supplies.  Dixie teaching
BASIC SERGER	currently not scheduled	Serger Club is led monthly by Jan Mueller.  Jan has 5 years  experience as a National Educator for Tacony Corp. Baby Lock Division. She is very knowledgeable about all machines, especially the serger.  Any brand of serger is included in the sessions.  Things to be covered in this session are:  serger safety; anatomy of the serger stitch; tips and tricks; using special threads; sergering curves, corners, making and installing piping and even putting in a zipper on the serger!   This session will be using a projection system and powerpoint presentation.    Cost of each session will be $15.  Please sign up ahead of class.

CHRISTMAS CLUB - February Favorites by American Jane Patterns	2nd Mondays Morning Session: 10:00 - 1:00 Evening Session: 6:00 - 9:00	Ongoing sessions that began in September '09. A new club will start again on October 8.
EMBROIDERY CLUB	Held the first Saturday OR the first Monday of the month	Bring your Baby Lock, Brother or Janome Embroidery Machines to have fun and learn with Burnell.  You will use decorative stitches on your machine, experiment with embroidery designs, make projects and just  have fun learning to use your wonderful machines and more.  $25  per session+ supplies for that session. Please sign up ahead of class.
FIRST FRIDAY	10:00 - 3:00 or 6:00 - 9:00	Come sew with us.  Bring your project, binding a quilt, making blocks, etc. come do it with friends.  Daytime session begins around 10 am till about 3 pm with time out for lunch at EZ's.  Evening gals gather around 6 till 9pm.  We usually order to go for dinner.  Bring something to work on and enjoy other quilters for a few hours, no teaching, just talking and having fun together while getting something done on your project.  No charge.
GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER?	Saturday, November 20 9:30 - 5:30	It's a mystery!  You will be given fabric list and cutting directions and the rest is a Mystery!  It will be fun and you will end up with a great table runner.  We will all bring a salad dish and have a fun day eating and sewing!  Limited spaces left, sign up soon.  $35 includes pattern and class.  Dixie leading on Saturday, Nov. 20, 9:30-5:30.
MACHINE QUILTING	Saturdays, Oct. 16, 10:00 - 12:00  AND Oct. 23, 1:30 - 3:30	Betty Sigel is the expert!  She will teach you things you didn't even think you needed to know about machine quilting.  This class is in two sessions, Saturday, Oct. 16, 10-12:00 you will learn basics.  You will return the next Sat, Oct. 23 1:30-3:30 to really quilt something with the techniques you learned.  $25.  Must know your machine and have a free motion foot.
PET PORTRAITS	Wednesdays,  Nov. 10, 10 - 12:00 AND Nov. 17, 10 - 4:00	Dian Lamb will help you create your favorite pet wall quilt for a photo.  Wed, Nov. 10, 10-12:00.  The second session is Wed., Nov. 17, 10-4:00. $50 for both sessions.  Dian will furnish some of the supplies.
SWEAT SHIRT JACKET II	Wednesday, October 13, 10-3 OR Saturday, October 30, 10 - 3	Sweat Shirt Jacket II with Dian Lamb is an easy way to create a beautiful light-weight jacket.  Dian is a master of creating wonderful clothing and art work.  Wed. Oct. 13, 10-3:00; OR Saturday, Oct 30, 10-3:00,  $35 + supplies.
TOSSED 9-PATCH	Tuesdays  Oct 5 & 12  6-9:00	Eleanor Burns's pattern is fun to make but looks real hard. Advanced beginner project.  Led by Dixie, $25 +supplies.
TUTOR TIME	currently not scheduled	Tutor Time - Katie Reed will help you get started, get finished or just encourage you on any quilt project you have.  Katie is patient, expert quilter and likes to help people with their problems.   Each session is $15    Call the shop for information on dates.
