Relay for Life benefiting American Cancer Society was held Saturday May 1 from 6pm to 6am Sunday. A lucky lady from Stockdale, Texas won the raffle quilt donated by Seventh Heaven. Dixie's granddaughter Rachel was a team captain of Teens For A Cure. Her team raised $1300 from bake sales and raffle tickets for the quilt. Someone from their team walked around the football field on the track all night to portray that cancer never sleeps and the treatments go on and on. Total funds raised from Wilson County relay was $70,000! Way to go teens and all who participated! The teens are already planning for next year's Relay.

Seventh Heaven customers have donated over 200 pillow cases to be donated to Ronald McDonald Houses. HQ staff folds and counts and packs them to be delivered. Ryan, Jennifer and Susie received them at the three locations. Some cases were sent to a RMH in Houston to a special little friend suffering from a brain tumor. It is our prayer that a brightly colored pillow case will bring some joy to these kids during a very difficult time in their young lives. Pray for all of these children that their treatments will work and they can be a kid again.

Hi to everyone! Summer is supposed to be over, someone just forgot to tell the weatherman! But cooler weather will be here before long.

Seventh Heaven has so many new bolts of beautiful fabric! It seems that every day we are rearranging to make room for more! Time to get your Christmas project going. Lots of beautiful Christmas fabric, lovely autumn bolts; great quilt labels; lots of new kits including several great stitchery projects. These kits are quick to complete and are a wonderful gift idea.

Christmas Club will NOT meet in September. Cotton and Ewe wool and cotton kits will not be ready in time for Christmas Club. Special wool is being dyed so there is a little delay. So Christmas Club gals, you get a break for one month!

NEW BOOK CLUB people your time is almost here! Second Thursday, Sept. 9, either 10:00, 1:00 or 5:30 OR second Saturday, September 11 - one session only – NEW TIME 11:00 am. Not many attended afternoon session so Saturdays will have only one time this year. We have a big surprise for you this year but can't tell you now, it's a secret! Thank you for your cooperation.

Eight hundred sixty-seven pillow cases have been delivered to the 3 local Ronald McDonald Houses, 2 Children's Hospitals and BAMC Fisher House! Way to go ladies! Kay Gregory has made 175 of those! The drive will continue as long as your bring them in. Let' go for 1,000+! The reports from the hospitals have been wonderful. Santa Rosa administrator said, "They went like hot cakes, the kids love them" (150)!
